Awadhesh Pratap Singh University Distance Education
Awadhesh Pratap Singh University Distance Education was established in the year 1968. It was named after Captain Awadhesh Pratap Singh, a distinguished son of the soil and a freedom fighter. The University got the UGC recognition in February 1972. It has a membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and All Commonwealth Association of Universities (ACAU).
The University is situated in the north of Rewa City. Following are the departments of the University: Environmental Biology, Physics, Science Block, Humanities Block (including its extension), Ambedkar Bhawan (Hindi Department), Tribal Centre, Computer Centre.
Awadhesh Pratap Singh University Distance Education Methodology
For the better understanding of the courses and topics institute’s research department has designed the study material as per students’ understanding and compatibility. Students are given home assignments and projects to grab the practical aspects of the programs. The institute also conducts classes and practical workshops, laboratories in every weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
