A team of CID, which is searching irregularities at the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), have now started a probe in the case and started inquiring all the seven accused, including Karnataka State Open University earlier vice-chancellors KS Rangappa & MG Krishnan.
The CID team controlled by S Revanna, DSP of CID attached to Economic Offences wing, Police, Bengaluru, is being assisted by inspector Hemalatha. Two-member CID team arrived in Mysuru Karnataka on April 13 and is verifying all records, collecting information at KSOU, besides questioning the accused.
Revanna told Media that investigation is under way and they are likely to continue the investigation for More five days. After that they find any way.
The case was stuck by karnataka state open university finance officer, A Khadar Phasha on the track of KSOU VC D Shivalingaiah in August 2016.
Governor-chancellor’s office had asked the University to initiate legal action against the criminals.
