The schools in Kerala will reopen in a staggered manner from November first, says CM Pinayi Vijayan. Speaking to the reporters on Wednesday, CM Vijayan lamented that the classes would open for standard 1 to 7 and 10 to 12. Rest classes will begin after November fifteenth, and bodies are working to reopen them too.
It should not be forgotten that the schools in Kerala were shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic for almost one and a half years. After the minimal decline in daily positive cases and increased recovery rate, the state government decided to take this step.
To ensure safety and protection for the students, the health and education minister would conduct a high-level meeting on Thursday for drafting a plan that everyone has to follow to provide a safe environment for the students.
The CM Vijayan expresses in the media that the government would make arrangements over state and district levels to ensure the students’ well-being. He said the Kerala police would also be in action to ensure the safe travel of the students.

The Police will help to repair those unused vehicles which were sidelined after the arrival of Covie-19. There will be special training for the drivers in which they will be taught to follow the health advisory to maintain distance in any covid crisis.
However, Kerala is not free from the covid-19 fear, and it will be a challenging task for the govt to operate under the fear when the cases were closed to twenty thousand on Wednesday.
