B.Sc Hons Agriculture is an undergraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Agriculture is a science that deals with the practice of farming which comprises cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops and Animal Husbandry. In this course, the students are given knowledge about the methods of agriculture, modern fertilizers for the improvement of crops and solutions to the numerous problem arising in the cultivation. In this course studying also about agriculture science, techniques in agriculture, soil science, water resource management, basic of biotechnology, Poultry and animal management etc. The duration of the course is Four years and the syllabus of the program is divided into eight semesters. There are some institutes which provide the course in four years of duration.
