Berhampur University Distance Education (BUDE) is a government university that was established in the year of 1967. It is approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC).  The Distance Education Center of the university was named after Harihar Madraj. He was a great connoisseur for Education in the state. The University distance learning center offers 19 postgraduate programs in faculties of commerce, science, humanities, management, and law. The University aims to provide the best possible education in a given stream to distance learners.  There is no age-restriction in Distance education.

The Berhampur University Distance Education center aims to provide good educational facilities, particularly to those who cannot pursue regular courses due to financial or other constraints.

Berhampur University Admission 2019:

For admission to the course of Undergraduate offered through distance learning mode, if the candidate wishes to apply admission of Ug course then must have to pass 10+2 examination. with relevant specialization form, any recognized university or educational institute are eligible to apply admission of this course.

Admission to PG: while for getting admission of master degree, candidates should have passed their bachelor’s degree with relevant from any recognized university is eligible to apply admission of master degree.
