DU SOL Application Form 2021-22

  • You can download the application form or even the prospectus from the official website. You can also get it from the North Delhi Campus or South study center. The payment of the prospectus is only 500 INR, while for the PH, SC and ST, it is reduced to 250 INR.
  • Fill in all the required details correctly, and the student would need to have their documents self-attested. The details filled in the form should be all factual.
  • The SOL DU fee for general students is kept as INR 750; Pay the application fee. You can pay through any online banking mode, such as debit or credit card.
  • The Main center is open for acquiring the Form of UG Courses. It can also be filled by SOL official site with the scanned documents.

  • Bachelor of Science in Botany is a three-year UG course it has focused on the study and morphology of plants. Duration: 3 years Eligibility: 10 levels passed with 60%
  • For subjects like BCom, BA, and even BA Honors, only those with 10+2 or any similar ones can opt for admission.
  • While for Under Graduate programs also, the admission is based on merit solely.
  • The merit is made from 10+2 exams.
  • For courses like MCom and MA, it is essential to have a bachelor’s degree to take part in the exams.
  • The degree should be in similar courses.
  • Post Graduate admissions are based on two things, merit-based tests, and entrance test marks.

DU SOL Application Form Eligibility For UG & PG Courses

  • The eligibility of courses remains a bit different from the other institutes as it is an open learning institute, yet it is much similar. One can go through each course eligibility from below:
  • Today, the SOL is offering many courses in both the fields of Post-graduation and Under graduation. At the level of Post-Graduation, the SOL is offering MA and M.Com, which are popular fields to take admission.
  • While, at the level of Under graduation, there are B.Com honors and BA honors, followed by a basic BA degree. It is a distant learning institute where you can either take the admission forum or prospectus from the North Delhi Campus, Main Center.
  • You can also take it from the South Moti Bagh, New Delhi. But for the Under Graduation courses, you can fill the application form online through the official website. Still, you will have to take extra care of document verification because it is essential.

DU SOL BCom & BA Admission 2021

  • The institute offers BA and BA honors at the undergraduate level, while there is also B.Com field choice and various other disciplines.
  • It is essential to have 10+2 with a similar subject, while the desired percentage is limited for minimum eligibility criteria. Also, the selection is based on Merit.
  • As an online institute, the students are called to verify documents and allotted seats.

DU SOL BA Honors Admission 2021

  • The institute also provides further specialization in both B.A. honors education. The final selection is solely based on Merit while having a degree from a recognizable institute is essential.
  • It is important to note that the degree must be in related fields, or the courses and subjects should be related to specialization in these fields. The whole duration is three years, and it is a distant means of learning, meaning it is online.
  • Inside the category of B.A. honors, the university provides specialization in only Political sciences and English subjects.
  • There are no minimum marks for qualification in terms of both S.T. or S.C. The minimum passing mark obtained is 10+2 for eligibility in Under Graduate courses.

DU SOL BA Honors in English Admission

  • The aggregate marks are increased to 60 %, while inside it, there is 57 % for the PWD and an extra 54 % for the OBC.
  • It is inside the 10+2 pattern with a minimum of seventy % marks in English subjects. There are 60 % marks in Elective English or Functional English.
  • For the 70 % in English, there is 66 and a half for the PWD and a total of 63 % for the OBC. Same as that, for the Elective English, there is 57 % for the PWD, and there is 54 % for the OBC.
  • The functional or elective English will allow the student to appear in the exams for the English subject. At the same time, it carries a score of 100 marks with singular language, followed by a total of 3 academic subjects.
  • It is also important to note that there are no streams of vocation in this.

DU SOL BA Honors in the Political Sciences Admission

  • There are fifty percent aggregate marks, while inside this, there are 47 and a half for PWD, followed by 45 percent for OBC. Inside this, there are three academic subjects and a singular subject.
  • Same as before, there are no vocational subjects.

DU SOL B.Sc Honors Admission

DU SOL M.Com & MA Admission 2021

  • For securing admission in desired fields, they should meet the eligibility criteria for subjects. For the Masters’s program, August to September is the hot months, yearly.
  • Only the Delhi University students don’t need to participate in the entrance exams, which are taken by none other than Delhi University.
  • The students who have graduated from Delhi University are finalized based on their exams of qualification or Merit.
  • For MA, the specialization is in Political sciences, History, Sanskrit, and Hindi. At the same time, it is a distant learning method and doesn’t require physical attendance.

Admission Key Aspects

  • Simply by normalizing the marks of either the B.Com program or B.Com eligibility, direct admission is given. It is the same for the B.Com pass candidates.
  • For M.Com, five percent marks are deducted for normalization. While, merit list preparation is done on the combined basis of B.Com honors, B.Com program, B.Com or B.Com pass merit after deduction.
  • In the case of M.A. in Sanskrit, students who have 45 percent in the test will be given the seat but have to check for the seats available.
  • The students who score less than 45 percent on the test are eligible to apply in Non-collegiate or SOL, which is also based on the available seats.
  • Indian nationals aboard can opt for the courses if they fall into the eligibility criteria or take exams in the university.
  • International students who live in India can also opt for admission if they fall into the eligibility criteria.
