CEED Test Patterns, Examination Centers, Syllabus, Cut-Offs: Here is the complete guide you need to KNOW about this year’s Common Entrance Examination for Design, CEED. The Common Entrance Examination for Design is conducted in two parts. All the aspirants must answer both parts. Part A will be digital, a computer-based screening examination. It is a test conducted to assess one’s varied skills ranging from visualization and spatial abilities, social and environmental awareness, logical and analytical reasoning, language skills, creative observations, and understanding of art & textile and design sensibility.

Candidates shortlisted in Part A will then be qualified for the next round of evaluation of Part B. While Part A focused on one’s analytical skills. Part B would evaluate the ability of the individual to draw, create and communicate, and to analyze and solve the problems. The final Common Entrance Examination for Design score is calculated after evaluating these 2 parts. The addition of 25% of marks in Part A and 75% of marks in Part B.

What is the CEED Exam?

The CEED is conducted to award admission to MD and prestigious Ph.D. in the design field to qualified IIT and IISc candidates. The exam will take place on 18 January 2020. This took place in 20 towns in India last year.

CEED 2021 Application Process:

Candidates will fill out the application form with three options for their respective test centers. The appeal to alter the center, particularly when the nominee seeks another center in the specified region, is not authorized once it has been made.
The layout of the Exam will include the Common Entrance Examination for Design Exam paper to divide into two separate parts A and B The applicant would have a minimum of three hours after which the examiner will check both portions. Below are the specifics of the two pieces.

Duration-Candidates will have an hour to seek Part A and 2 hours to pursue Part B. Word-Language will be in English for both pieces.

Exam Mode-Part A will be a screening examination based on a computer. While Part B questions will be shown on the video, they will only be addressed by candidates in writing.

Question Form-While Part A consists of questions of the analytical form, Part B questions are to be answered in writing by the respondent

CEED 2021 Cutoff:

The Cutoff for CEED differs from General Category to Others. IIT Bombay reveals the cutoff for Part A. Part B is a subjective paper, there are no certain cutoffs applied to that.
