JEE Main Admit Card 2021, Exam Date, Syllabus: This article gives information about JEE MAIN ADMIT (Joint Entrance Examination) and JEE Main Admit 2021. JEE Main Examination is an all-India common engineering entrance examination that is conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency). But it was previously conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students from J & K region can also fill the application for the JEE Main 2021. JEE Main Exam Pattern has been different from 2021.


  • As per the new exam pattern, there will be 3 different papers instead of 2 for taking admission in undergraduate programs. Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor Of Technology, B.Arch and B.Planning at NITs and IIITs. These exams will be held separately. This national-level exam is performed two times a year and in online mode only. The exam of JEE Main will be scheduled from January 06 to 11, 2021.

  • NTA (National Testing Agency) will release the admit card of JEE Main on December 6, 2021, in online mode. JEE Main 2021 will be held by NTA from January 6 to 11, 2021. NTA earlier had released the sample papers for numerical value questions in the Chemistry section of JEE Main.
  • From September 3 to October 10, 2019, the application form for the January session was available. JEE Main will organize across 233 centers in the country and abroad. The result of JEE Main 2021 for the first session will be announced on January 31, 2021. The ranks of All India will be released only after the JEE Main result for April announced.

What is JEE Main Admit Card 2021?

  • Joint Entrance Exam (Main) which is also known as JEE MAIN 2021 is an entrance exam to get admission in the undergraduate architecture, engineering, and planning programs which are provided by 31 National Institutes of Technology, 25 Indian Institutes of Information Technology, and 28 Government Funded Technical Institutes.
  • For 2.5 lakh students, JEE Main 2021 is also the screening test who have successfully qualified to appear for the JEE Advanced for taking admissions to the 12463 seats in 23 Indian Institutes of Technology.
  • January session of JEE Main received 9.34 lakh registrations for Paper 1 and 1.38 lakh for Paper 2. Registrations of JEE Main for the April session will be available from February 7 to March 7, 2021. The test for April will be held from April 3 to 9, 2021. The JEE Main common rank list will be released on April 30, 2021, for both sessions.

JEE Main Admit Card 2021: Changes

  • The process of JEE Main application has been changed and the application fees have also been increased and offline payment mode is not available from this year (2021).
  • According to the announcement of changes in the new JEE Main Exam Pattern of the year 2021. The candidates now have to answer only 75 questions (25 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths) in Paper 1. where these are inclusive of five numerical questions per section which do not carry negative marking. The JEE Main paper will be of total of 30 marks from now.
  • Paper 2 of JEE Main has been separated for B. Arch and B. Planning candidates. B. Planning candidates have questions on planning while B. Arch students have the drawing test which is pen and paper-based. Maths and aptitude are common for both. The total scores have been increased to 400 for Paper 2.
  • Exam centers of JEE Main 2021 are now 233 in comparison to JEE main 2019 where the exam centers were 264.
  • New eligibility for B. Planning candidates allows candidates from any stream who have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 12.
  • NTA has set up a dedicated JEE Main Query Redressal System (QRS), to answer all the queries/grievances by students.

 JEE Main Admit Card 2021

The NTA (NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY) will release out JEE Mains admit card on December 6, 2019, in online mode. The admit card of JEE Main 2021 for the January session will be on online mode only. Candidates can download they are admitted card by using the application number and password/date of birth of their JEE Main exam.

  • Other details related to the Examination venue address, timings, roll number, and more will be mentioned in the admit card of JEE Main 2021. It is very compulsory for all the candidates to carry the admit card in the exam hall on the day of the exam and along with that a photo, identity proof, and a passport size photo will also be required.
  • On March 16, 2021, the admit card of JEE Main for the April session will be released.
