The NMIMS Management Admission Test is now officially termed NMAT by GMAC. It is a computer-based exam and is deemed important for aspirants who wish to apply for leading B-schools and Universities in India.

Application fee:

  • The fees amount for on-time payment is Rs.2000/- and Rs. 2500/- for late application.
  • The online application fee of NMAT 2021 payment can pay through a credit or debit card.

NMAT 2021 Admission Process:

For the admission process follow these instructions:

Step 1: Register for NMAT 2021

Due to the online mode, the registration form is very simple and it’ll take a few minutes. You just have to fill the information asked in the form and submit it. After that, you’ll be asked to pay for the registration.

Step 2: Download NMAT Admit card

Usually, you’ll be able to download your admit card a few weeks before the exam. All the information regarding the exam is on the admit card. You’ll have to show your admit card at the gate for entrance.

Step 3: Appear for NMAT entrance exam

The exam will be according to the syllabus provided. So go through that and for practice take some mock tests.

Step 4: Check NMAT exam result

NMAT 2021 Exam Pattern:

  • The NMIMS Management Admission Test (NMAT) is conducted online and is a computer-based exam.
  • The Exam held for a duration of a maximum of 2 hours.
  • The question paper gets divided into three sections, with a total of 120 questions.
  • The question paper comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with each question carrying three marks. There exists no negative marking for any incorrect answer.
  • The Language Skills section consists of 32 questions, with a total of 22 minutes allotted.
  • The Quantitative Skills section consists of 48 questions, with a total of 60 minutes allotted.
  • The Logical Reasoning section consists of 40 questions, with a total of 38 minutes allotted.

Eligibility Criteria NMAT 2021 Exam:

All the aspirants interested in applying for the entrance exam must carefully read out the eligibility criteria before making a decision. Any aspirant found ineligible anytime during the admission process shall be disqualified from further processes.

  • The aspirant must be a Graduate with an average of at least 50% marks.
  • There is no age limit set.
  • Also, aspirants with work experience can apply for the Exam.

NMAT Exam 2021 Application Form :

To apply for the NMAT by GMAC, aspirants are required to fill in the Application Form available online on the official portal. Once the Application Form has been filled in by the aspirant and submitted, no further changes shall be entertained. Also, the Application fee is non-refundable.

Aspirants who register early will get a charge of INR 2000/- while late Registration charges INR 2500/-.

NMAT Exam 2021 Admit Card:

The Hall Tickets will be issued only for aspirants who have successfully applied for the NMAT 2021. The Admit Card option will be activated once the aspirant submits the Application Form along with the Application fee successfully. It is mandated for all the aspirants to carry their Admit Card along with valid ID proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or PAN Card) to their Exam Hall. The students deemed to bring along a printout of the Confirmation Letter sent via email on the day of the Exam.

To download the Hall Ticket, the aspirant needs to first log in to the official website of NMAT 2021. Then gain access to the page where the Admit Card is made available for download. The aspirant needs first to download the Admit Card and then take a printout of the same.

NMIMS NMAT Exam 2021 Results:

The results for NMAT 2021 will get declared on the official portal in January 2021. The result comprised percentile and scaled scores for each section attended. Aspirants are mandated to carry along a copy of their final results, once they get selected for the GDPI round.

Ques. How many times can an aspirant appear for NMAT by GMAC?

Ans. Any test taker can make a total attempt of 3 times, including no-shows. The three efforts include the first attempt and two retakes.

Ques. When should a test taker report to the Exam Centre?

Ans. All test takers must report to the Exam Centre 45 minutes before the allotted time in the Confirmation Email sent to the aspirant on the day of the Exam.

Ques. What if a test taker fails to appear for the Exam?

Ans. Any test taker reporting to the center 15 minutes later than the allotted time marked as a ‘No Show.’ The aspirant will have to forfeit the entire Application fee for the test. And this will be considered a valid attempt. As per the retake policy of NMAT by GMAC, any test taker can appear a maximum of 3 times, including No Show attempts.
