IPU CET 2020 Exam: Every year in April, May, and June, IPU CET is conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. If you are looking for a UG or PG admission, then you have to give the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test.

Exam Pattern of IPU CET 2020
Your score in IPU CET will tell you which courses you are eligible for. The score will decide among 45 different courses. The exam pattern followed last year, will be followed this year as well. It is better for the students if they have already gone through the exam pattern. Two hours 30 minutes is the exam time duration for all courses except for M.A. English and B.Tech.
In these two courses, the exam will be of 3 hours. As of Previous year’s exam pattern, this exam will be offline or pen paper-based.
For the candidates who seek admission for a particular program, which is not mentioned in the list. They will get admission based on their score in the qualifying examination for the particular program.
For All Courses (Except B.Tech and M.A. English)
There will be a total of 600 questions, and you will have 2 hours and 30 minutes complete. for every correct answer, you will be awarded four marks, and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.
There is no partial marking, and the examination will be offline or paper pen-based. The language of this examination will be English except for BED exam, which will be in both Hindi and English language.
For B.Tech Courses
In this exam, there will be a total of 800 questions and time of three hours to complete it. The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions MCQs. Every question will contain four marks, and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There is no partial marking. The language of this examination will be English, and the examination will be offline.
For M.A. English Course
This exam consists of two sections, which are part A and part B. In part A, there will be a hundred questions, and every question will be MCQ based. Whereas Part B will be an essay writing section. Furthermore, in part B, every question will contain four marks, and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. You will have a total of 3 hours to complete it. The official language of the exam will be English, and this exam will be pen-paper-based.

For instance, candidates who are pursuing undergraduate programs like B.Tech will have the syllabus of class 11th and 12th standard of the NCERT book.
