The last date for the graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE) to the year 2022 will end today. Earlier candidates who could not apply for the regular registration, which was closed on September 30, may apply for the test over the official website (https://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/).
The last date for the closing of registration was extended earlier and scheduled with the late fee registration till September 30. Candidates will have the last chance to apply till the time has been mentioned.
Those who have made mistakes while submitting the form will have to wait until October 26 because correction in the application will start after the above date. Applied candidates may seek rectification till November 1, 2021, and the last date for the change in paper, exam city, and category will be closed over November 12, 2021.
IIT Kharagpur will organize the GATE examination, which is lineup as February 5, 6, 12, and 13 of 2022. exams are scheduled to take place in various centers across the country. This year, there is a minor inclusion as far as the syllabus is concerned by the subject like- Geomatics engineering and marine engineering and naval engineering.
GATE examination paper for the year 2022 is structured in an objective manner where candidates have to answer the question based on the pattern below:

The candidate should be aware of the fact that GATE 2022 will have the negative marking where marks will be deducted in two manners:
- A question that consists of one mark- if it gets wrong, ⅓ will be deducted
- A question that consists of two marks- If it gets the wrong ⅔ will be deducted
