Eligibility Criteria: IGRUA Entrance Exam

Admission to IGRUA is mainly on merit to enhance fairness to all candidates. However, there are additional criteria that are used when selecting the most suitable candidates. For a candidate to be eligible, they must meet the requirements below;

  • Age Restrictions: For one to qualify for the IGRUA Entrance Exam, they need to be 17 years or more.
  • Academic Qualifications: The candidates need to have passed English in class 10 and 12. Additionally, the candidates must have attained an aggregate total of 55 per cent or more in both Mathematics and Physics.

IGRUA Selection Criteria

  • Selection criteria rely heavily on the online written test, the interview as well as the pilot aptitude test. For candidates to be considered for admission to pursue the Commercial Pilot License Course, (CPL). They must pass all the stages. Typically, candidates who are eligible for the online written test proceeds to the interviews.
  • The online written exam is usually computer-based and consists of multiple subjects. Addition the online exams are organized in specific centres. The qualifying mark is not less than 5 per cent of the lowest score of the last candidate in that particular category. If the student passes the test and gets shortlisted, they proceed to the next evaluation stage.
  • The interview evaluation stage is more of verification than actual testing. Candidates are required to carry crucial documents like Class 10 mark sheet, proof of online test, and the caste certificates and class 10 and 12, mark sheets. Once they present the documents to the interviewers, they verify them to ascertain their authenticity.
  • Last but not least is the psychometric test evaluation level. The evaluation is popularly known as the pilot aptitude test. The test is highly crucial as it determines the candidates who’ll proceed to the for the course.
