On 06 October 2022, at the event of Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas UGC took a decision to implement a cyber security course in all streams of education. University Grant Commission announced the modifications of the syllabus of cyber security courses at UG and PG levels.
The aim of this course is to spread awareness about cyber security among the young generation of India. It helps all digital citizens. After learning the advantages and disadvantages they will be able to survive in a virtual ecosystem. Well awared people of India will get to know the advanced cyber security posture.
There will be three stages of learning that are basic, medium and advance. The curriculum of all the stages is different. Students will learn practically. It is also included in the syllabus.
In the latest notification released by the UGC on 17 October 2022, the syllabus for the cyber security courses was revealed that is to be implemented by the universities in various course curriculums as soon as possible.
