M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering is a postgraduate course. This program providing specialization in computer system technologies, and computer programming languages. This program covers some areas like- safe and secure systems, system integration, distributed and embedded systems, algorithms and logic, networks, software engineering, system-on-chip and digital systems.  After completing the program students have many opportunities in different areas.

M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering admission method

M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering admission process is based on the student’s performance in the entrance exam, which followed by the counselling round. For the admission in the program, candidates have to appear for GATE (Graduate aptitude test engineering).

Some condition for appearing GATE Exam

  • Emulation of the 2nd or Higher year of 4 years integrated master degree program (Past-b.Sc) in technology/engineering.
  • Bachelor degree programs in technology/engineering architecture (4 years after the Post-diploma, Post-B.Sc, 12th class)
  • Emulation of 4th or higher year of a 5-year integrated master’s degree program in technology/engineering.
  • A qualification obtained by any exam, which conducted by the professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (AMIE, AMICE) by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India), as equivalent to B.Tech/ B.E.

Duration: The duration of M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering is 2-year.

Eligibility criteria: 

  • Minimum required marks: Students must have 60% in graduation, 10th & 12th class.
  • Minimum required qualification: Students must have B.Tech/BE in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Industrial Safety/ Petroleum Engineering/ Geo Science Engineering/ Fire Safety Engineering/ Electronics/ Geo Informatics.
