The NEET PG 2021 result was declared on 28th September Tuesday. The National Board of examinations in medical sciences, which administrates the entrance test, released the candidates’ scores along with cut-off marks for the year 2021. Those candidates who have qualified in the NEET PG will get shortlisted for admission in MS/MD Postgraduate diploma programs.
Candidate can check their NEET PG 2021 result by visiting nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.
The cut-off marks for the students of various categories are 302 for general while 265 for reserved, including the scheduled tribes, scheduled castes, rest backward castes, and 283 for persons with disabilities.
As per the NBE statement,” 50% quota will be proclaimed separately for merit and rank position for India. The states and UT will release the state quota seats through the final merit list, which will be generated category wise as per eligibility criteria, applicable regulations, and reservation policy,”
If two or more students received the same score, the merit list would be determined over the following tie-breaker criteria.
- A candidate who has obtained a considerable number of correct answers in the question paper will place in the better position on the merit list.
- Those who have fewer negative answers in the question paper will place in a better position in the merit list.
- Older candidates will place higher on the merit list.
- Candidates who have secured higher aggregate marks in percentage in all professional examinations for MBBS will place at the higher position in the merit list.
