Netaji Subhas Open University Admission 2020: It is the leading and outstanding state open university in India. In short, it is called NSOU. According to the state Act, W.B. Act XIX of 1997, identified by the UGC, passed on 20th August 1997. This College was acknowledged and split into the Netaji Institute of Asian Studies (NIAS). It is one of the largest State-level open Universities in West Bengal, which is overpowering India’s education system. The academy was founded in 1997 and received the UGC recognition in 1997 according to the act.

The NSOU started operating from July 1998 but only with Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Commerce and Arts. Netaji Subhas Open University is among the top ten open College list of the country. The Director of the NIAS was Professor Radharaman Chakraborty, and later, was allotted as the Vice-Chancellor of NSOU.

Netaji Subhas Open University Admission dates for vocational studies (SVS) and Centre for lifelong learning (CLL)  for January session 2020 is extended to 25 January 2020 for all study centres and the last date of submission of form and fees by the study centres to the university headquarters is 30 January 2020.

To get admission to NSOU, the app form should download on the NSOU website.The following documents required for the admission process are:

  • Applicants should download the Application Form from the college website.
  • Applicants should have proper Marksheet and Certificates in two copies with duly attested.
  • Must have ID proof details.
  • Min the four copies of passport photos get required.
  • University fees can get paid through online or offline as per the requirement of the aspirant.

The University has received an Excellence award from the Commonwealth of Learning for Institutional Achievement. In order to keep up the pace with today’s technology, NSOU has implemented various online services for the betterment of students.
