New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the partnership of Microsoft & Tech Avant-Garde are ready to train teachers in hybrid learning. The CBSE has come up with confirmation on October 26, 2021, that they are willing to teach “hybrid learning” to those who have basic knowledge of technology.
Recently, We have seen state governments re-open the schools to offline classes for students. Yet, parents have not shown support for the step as they are worried about sending their children to the classrooms till the covid-19 situation does improve; instead, they believe in online learning, Said by CBSE.
The board further said, “They aim to educate the institutions like schools on how to manage such difficult times. Pandemic has been affecting our world for over a year now, and our education system has faced tremendous pressure due to this. We all know that most of the schools were under lockdown for quite a long period and would definitely struggle to find consistency to get previous teaching-learning transactions.
The CBSE stated, “Teachers who will successfully be able to complete the training program will be certified specialists in “Hybrid Learning”, and their learning would help the students to acquire knowledge through online”
The process of offering the training programme begins from the affiliated schools, from where only two teachers can apply and those “who are going to apply” will no need of paying the registration fee. Teachers who belong to any subject may participate in this training programme, but they need to have basic knowledge of technology.
